The last copy of TableMaster is getting shrink-wrapped even as I type, the chocolate chip cookies are cooling on their racks, and I’m trying to remember where I put the display peg rack. Yep, it’s a convention — SCARAB is tomorrow! (or today, if we want to get technical)
I’ve been up to my eyeballs in matters relating to my late aunt’s estate, which has really cut into getting any productive work done. Though the lawyer should help — I’ve acquired one in Maine, because it’s cheaper to pay him to do things, mostly involving filing papers, than it is to fly up to Maine again to do them myself. On my way out of town to SCARAB tomorrow, I need to stop by the notary to get some more paperwork notarized so I can send it off to said lawyer, and in turn to Maine.
Then it’s a convention, and despite my current excess of stress and shortage of sleep, conventions are just plain fun. That’s one of my favorite parts of Wintertree: getting to meet up with the people who use my software, showing new ones just what it actually does, and maybe even getting into a game once in a while.
I’ll take some pictures of my booth. Y’know, back when I did my first GenCon, I got pictures … with a physical Polaroid camera. Now I just pull the iThing out of my pocket and rock ‘n’ roll. I like it a lot better this way! 🙂
